Most people don’t feel hungry in the morning. People buy packed food, processed food for breakfast. And the trend is growing all over the world example breakfast food, and all. It’s not that don’t eat breakfast, breakfast gives and maintains energy during the day, but intermittent fasting is a great term for the long term good health.

- Usually, the intermittent fasting myth is the ratio for intermittent fasting is 16:8. That means 16 hours of fasting and 8 hours of eating. But it’s not necessary to be these figures you can do 10 hours of fast, 12 hours of fast, even 17hours of fast it’s upon you what suits to your body. Please listen to your body when your intermittent fasting.
- Whenever you felt hungry just eat it. Don’t compare yourself intermittent fasting to others, everybody has a different duration of fasts. Because the previous food which you had to consume is not digested fully. Normally a meal takes 3 to 4 hours to digest completely and when you eat food when the digestive system is working. And it cannot digest the food properly and thus the food you eat converts into fats and chances are weight gain, gut problems, gastrointestinal diseases. So when you are hungry then eat, don’t eat unnecessarily.
- People eat snacks, processed food during a binge-watch. You have to understand that during night body is in detoxification mode that is elimination mode and just we put something food in our body we stop that process. Let your body perform fully detoxification process. Listen to your body. Don’t eat at midnight after dinner.
- A simple way to follow and adapt the intermittent fasting is that eat your dinner before sunset and break that fast after sunrise. For example: eat your dinner till 7:00 pm or 8:00 pm max and you can break your fast in the morning at 8:00 am. So it would be 12 hours of fasting which is a great way to adapt it.

- If you started intermittent fasting today, from today to 1-2 days you will feel weak, but on 3rd day you will feel great and you would never break your fast. Try it for 2 days if you’re body is not adapting then don’t do it.
- Break your fast with fruits, dates, raw vegetables and meal. Hydrate yourself. Don’t put acidic into the empty stomach like coffee, tea. They are stimulants to our stomach.

Things to be remembered during fasting
- Align sleep time and eat time. Have a proper meal, avoid carbs at night. Sleep as early as possible, Fat burn happens when you have good sleep.
- Drink room temperature water if you can because of good digestion and metabolism.
- Don’t make it a fad diet, sacrifice your sugary foods, oily foods and processed food.
- Fasting is not starvation, don’t starve yourself.
- Don’t snack yourself even if the meal is not digested.
- Don’t believe in numbers. You are using energy every day different. So you determine what is good better hours of fasting for you. Start with 12 hours of fasting.
- Eat your meals don’t diet when fasting.
- Don’t overdo and don’t break your fast with chips and processed food.
